In art and craft this month we made woven hearts and hung them on hazel with catkins dangling down which looked very effective for Valentine's Day. We also decorated the dining area with hearts and roses just for a couple of days around this time.

We enjoyed the QI questions with some interesting facts. We had Quizzes, poetry, story-telling, board games and bingo, just trying to get an interesting mix of activities throughout the month.

The evenings are getting longer and with some warm spring temperatures, many plants are definitely thinking it is time to start opening up. We are beginning to start thinking about what seeds to plant, edibles or showy flowers. Our new greenhouse will go up in the spring ready to put our seeds in, it will have double doors and be easily accessible for wheelchairs and benches to work on.
