Coronavirus Update

Amid the ever changing Coronavirus situation, we actively take every step possible to safeguard our residents and staff against Covid 19. The health and safety of our residents and staff is our main priority and we are closely following the advice of the Government and our local Health Protection Team.

We are pleased to advise that we are open to new admissions. Robust infection control measures are in place to safeguard our home and residents, and staff are closely monitored through regular coronavirus testing.

Please contact us for our current visiting procedure and should you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Welcome toThe Old Vicarage

Life at The Old Vicarage is just as individual as the people who live here. Residents are encouraged to indulge existing passions and hobbies, and to explore new interests if the fancy takes them; local clubs and organisations are favourites, along with our own full and diverse activities programme. If there is something you particularly want to try, we will do our best to make it happen – we want you to enjoy yourself, to be happy and fulfilled.

From our experience choosing a home is as tough a decision as any other you have faced during your life, it can be a long and sometimes very stressful experience. Our aim is to advise you of the services and facilities that we provide to help you to make an informed choice.

“The patience of all the staff knew no bounds and it was obvious that the well-being of the residents is paramount. I can wholeheartedly recommend The Old Vicarage to anyone looking for a safe and caring home for a family member.”

''The expression ''above and beyond'' fits perfectly with how I feel the staff cared for him [dad], physically and emotionally. He truly bonded with them, and some of the nicknames I heard him use spoke volumes about their relationship.”

“Mum really enjoys the food provided, the home and gardens are beautiful and I couldn't wish for a better place for her to be. Many thanks.”
