Amid the ever changing Coronavirus situation, we actively take every step possible to safeguard our residents and staff against Covid 19. The health and safety of our residents and staff is our main priority and we are closely following the advice of the Government and our local Health Protection Team.
We are pleased to advise that we are open to new admissions. Robust infection control measures are in place to safeguard our home and residents, and staff are closely monitored through regular coronavirus testing.
Please contact us for our current visiting procedure and should you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Life at The Old Vicarage is just as individual as the people who live here. Residents are encouraged to indulge existing passions and hobbies, and to explore new interests if the fancy takes them; local clubs and organisations are favourites, along with our own full and diverse activities programme. If there is something you particularly want to try, we will do our best to make it happen – we want you to enjoy yourself, to be happy and fulfilled.
The building’s beautifully landscaped grounds provide a haven for those who enjoy the peace and relaxation of a rural setting. Our residents enjoy chatting, walking, and painting in the grounds and in the surrounding countryside.
Restcare’s residential care home is a place where you can be yourself, where family and friends are always welcome, and where your comfort, safety, and happiness are our priority.
From our experience choosing a home is as tough a decision as any other you have faced during your life, it can be a long and sometimes very stressful experience. Our aim is to advise you of the services and facilities that we provide to help you to make an informed choice.

''Thank you for giving Mum such a lovely birthday and for looking after her body, mind and soul so beautifully”

“I have spent two weeks here while my children with whom I live have been away on holiday. The Care Home is in a lovely part of Somerset and has the most beautiful views and a very large garden with lovely parts to walk around. Although I will be glad to go home, I will be very pleased to come back if I have to”.
