In art and craft we planned around Valentine's Day and made some woven hearts to hang on some twigs for a decoration. Weaving paper is harder than it looks. Residents drew, coloured and painted roses and we put them all together for a big posy for everyone to enjoy.

Poetry was based on romantic theme this week, everyone shared their thoughts on what love means to them. These were our feelings put together in a short poem;

Love is for my family

For the life we have happily shared

The happy, the sad, the tough times

And memories that cared

We all love the nature around us

It can be both cruel and tender

Young life and all that fluff

Brings out our loving nature

Love is for everyone

It brings us all together

And makes our lives as one

And a world that should last forever
