It was hard to decide when to empty our tubs to put in the spring bulbs, but we took the plunge and everything came out. We saved what plants we felt might last the winter and put away begonia tubas so hopefully they will also survive for next summer. Now the tubs look a little barer but we will be waiting for the first signs of daffodils to appear in the coming weeks.
We had our remembrance service on the 11/11 to remember all those who gave their lives during any conflict. The bugler came to play at the beginning of the service, which was very moving.
In art and craft this month we have started thinking about Christmas and made some Christmas cards and played the first of the Christmas music to get us in the mood.
We also finished off our ceramics with a varnish finish which look very effective.
With music in mind we are still making our way through a pile of singles, with some real gem's emerging, it's great to see residents faces when they remember a tune and everyone joins in with a sing along.
