We had a lovely Harvest Service with some traditional harvest songs accompanied on the organ by our resident organist. Thank you as always to Vicar Jan for her wonderful warm service.

Residents enjoyed the various activities, games, bingo and exercise classes. They also enjoyed a music quiz and some music sessions with CDs and records.

The home was decorated for Autumn, we strung up some artificial autumn leaves which looked very effective on the windows and added some twigs. For Halloween we added some bats and cobwebs.

On Halloween we carved some pumpkins, one cat and one house, which looked great with small lights inside. In another craft session residents decorated some bottles with autumn colours and lit them up with small LED lights. All the decorations looked very effective and everyone who participated really enjoyed it.
