We had a lovely story telling morning, with a descriptive chapter from Pocahontas, some Wind in the Willows and Black Beauty and an interesting short story about the returning of love letters to a family from World War I.

As a start to Halloween festivities we used some more of our old sock pile and made sock pumpkins, which everyone thought was quite fun and as with most of our projects, we could not quite see how things would turn out until finished. We now have quite a Halloween assortment.
