Everyone thought pumpkin carving would be a great idea but we did not quite realise what hard work it would be. Scooping out the seeds was relatively easy although a bit gory but getting the flesh out to use in soup was harder than it looked. After drawing the design on the pumpkin getting the carving tools to go along the right lines was also tricky but between everyone having a little go, the job was done. We all agreed it was a good result.
