Celebrating the Chinese New Year

Art and craft were very productive as always and the theme was to celebrate the Chinese New Year and the year of the Tiger, in style. We made some lovely lanterns to hang up, they were very effective.

Painting certainly brought out the creative in some of us with residents painting a vase of tulips. We have continued with our usual activities, a lovely gentle music afternoon, listening to a musical LP and other singalong party mixes from the 50s.

We have enjoyed active games like skittles and darts and our weekly exercise sessions. We've had story-telling, poetry, quizzes, charades and the numbers games. We looked at some interesting QI questions. Did you know a group of ducks is called a paddling?
