Remembrance Service

Halloween passed without incident and we moved onto our Remembrance Service. Some lovely twigs were decorated with poppies we made and everyone contributed to the service. A bugler very kindly came for our service and played outside on the patio, it was a touching moment.

The weather has still been unseasonably warm and we have continued to walk down through the village without getting blown away in the wind. This probably will change very soon and not so much fresh air will be taken. Gardening is going to cease for the winter but we picked and dried some statis which have now formed the basis for our table decorations leading up to Christmas.
