Lots of games have been enjoyed as well as the usual reading sessions and exercise classes.
Some residents have enjoyed a nice stroll into the village, although we still find the wind a little chilling.
We have been sowing our tomato and cucumber seeds which are growing in the greenhouse. This year we have sewn a regular tomato and a beef tomato and a midi cucumber. We all really enjoyed eating our own vegetables last year, and they were such a success. We look forward to watching everything grow and develop again in the coming months.
The garden is full of colour and the tulips in particular have provided a beautiful display.
In art and crafts we made very effective bright Easter bunnies which everyone enjoyed.
The wonderful harpist; Hazel Prior came along and gave us a lovely afternoon listening to her play the harp and sing. We joined in with some of the tunes and she said it was lovely to have such participation. A couple of the residents had a go at playing a few chords on her harp. Hazel had an overwhelming response from the residents, it was very moving and everyone is looking forward to her coming again.
