Our local author Phillip Edwards who has published his book "At the Very End of the Road" came in to chat about his book and read us a few chapters. Everyone enjoyed his slide show. Earlier last year we thought residents would enjoy the nature and descriptive quality of his book, which explores the impact of season and tides and weather upon our landscape so we bought the book and have been enjoying a few stories each month going with his chapters which follow the months of the year.

One of our talented residents painted a lovely watercolour which we are going to mount and give to Philip as a thank you.

It's been a bit wet and cold for very much outside yet but residents are enjoying watching the snowdrops appearing and watching the birds feeding on the feeders. Soon it will be time for us to think about what to plant in our tubs.

We have been playing various games and having music and exercise sessions. A big thank you as always our resident; Stan who plays the organ for the music sessions.

Our church service taken by Rev Jan, was much appreciated and enjoyed by everyone.

In art and craft we focused on a Valentine theme in preparation for next month.
