The Old Vicarage
Life at The Old Vicarage is just as individual as the people who live here. Residents are encouraged to indulge existing passions and hobbies, and to explore new interests if the fancy takes them; local clubs and organisations are favourites, along with our own full and diverse activities programme. If there is something you particularly want to try, we will do our best to make it happen – we want you to enjoy yourself, to be happy and fulfilled.
The building’s beautifully landscaped grounds also provide a haven for those who enjoy the peace and relaxation of a rural setting. Our residents enjoy chatting, walking, and painting in the grounds and in the surrounding countryside.
Our bedrooms are full of individual character, a private and unique space, where residents are encouraged to have their own favoured possessions around them. Self-contained ‘cottages’ are also available for those residents seeking greater independence and freedom.
The Old Vicarage is indeed a very beautiful place, but we think the best way to decide if it is the place for you is to come along for a visit. Seeing the building, meeting our happy residents and staff, and getting the feel of the place - the sights, the scents, the sounds - will tell you more about us than any words ever could.
